We can set up a jumping castle on any reasonably flat surface.  We prefer to set up on a flat grassy area so we can securely peg the castle in place.  However, we can set up on flat driveways, gravel or paved surfaces and indoors.  Please notify us in advance if your inflatable needs to be installed on a hard surface or indoors so we can bring suitable weights to anchor it in place.

Yes, however, when setting up a jumping castle or inflatable in a public area, you will usually need to apply for a permit from the local authority.  If we set up in public area, We will need to supervise.

You will need to have at least the size of the jumping castle, plus 1 meter to accommodate the castle and the blower.  In addition to this, we need a clear access pathway of at least 1 meter wide to move equipment into place.

Our standard hire terms are four or seven hours.  However, additional hours and overnight hire is available upon request.  For maximum enjoyment, we set up and dismantle the equipment in our own time, so the hire time is your fun time.

A standard household 240 volt plug socket will be required to operate your jumping castle.  For your convenience, our vans are equipped with a 20m long extension lead so we can easily access nearby plug sockets.  Alternatively, if there is no electricity supply nearby, we can supply a generator for a small additional fee.

On days with high wind or heavy rain, it may not be safe to set up an inflatable.  We constantly monitor the weather forecast to ensure your safety and should the weather forecast be unfavourable we will call you and advise you of your options.  In the event that we deem the weather unsuitable, there will be no charge and we would be happy to reschedule your booking for another time.

JUMPING CASTLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

Dear client

YOUR SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES.
SAFETY OF ALL RIDERS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

No shoes, sharp/hard objects, chewy, food or drink allowed on the castle
No flips, somersaults or rough play
No deliberate bouncing off the netting
Do not allow kids near blower

Load Limit: The castle is designed to support up to 8 children under 12.
Maximum load limit is 400kg. Do not exceed this limit.

Wet Weather: Leave blower running at all times. The castle has a rain cover suitable for light showers. If water gets inside the castle, make sure everyone exits the castle as the jump area will become wet and slippery. Before allowing anyone back on, wipe any excess water off the jumping area with a rag/towel. Additional fee of $45 will be applicable if the castle gets wet in rain though it is not in your control. This is because it takes a lot of time and effort to dry the castle up for a reuse.

Windy Conditions: The castle will withstand up to 25km/hr winds. If winds become very strong (Papers/leaves blowing around, trees swaying, castle lifting from ground) ensure everyone exits the castle until winds subside. Turn off the blower if winds are excessive.

Unit deflates: If castle begins to deflate help kids to exit immediately. Deflation can be due to a power failure, blower being switched off or a blower tube loosened. Do not operate until the problem is found and pressure is restored.

Evacuating: When evacuating don’t panic. Help all children to exit one at a time. Do not allow any kids to enter the castle while it’s being evacuated.

Movement: The castle should not move from the position that it has been set up. If you notice any movement please contact us on one of the numbers above.

If any problems occur during your castle hire, please give us a call on the phone number listed below and as discussed like many other jumping castles businesses, we don’t have a public liability insurance so it’s of utmost important that you follow these instructions as any incidents will be your liability.

Please return the castle in good working condition. You are liable for any intentional damage, or damage caused as a result of not adhering to this instruction. If any additional cleaning required apart from light mud and grass, a fee of $1/minute will be charged. Also, additional fee of $45 will be applicable if the castle gets wet in rain though it is not in your control. This is because it takes a lot of time and effort to dry the castle up for a reuse.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST – HAVE FUN!!

I acknowledge that I have received a copy of these supervisor instructions. I have also heard verbally and fully understand the supervision and safety requirements.
