How do I hire a jumping castle?

How long can I hire a jumping castle?
Our standard hire terms are four or seven hours. However, additional hours and overnight hire is available upon request. For maximum enjoyment, we set up and dismantle the equipment in our own time, so the hire time is your fun time.
How much notice do I need to give when hiring a jumping castle or inflatable slide?
As with all parties or events the more notice we have the better. Castles Galore carry a large range of jumping castles and inflatable slides, so subject to availability, we will always go the extra mile to ensure you get the castle you want, even at short notice.
When do I pay for my jumping castle hire or inflatable slide?
Payment will be taken on the day of the hire prior to the start of the party/event. For your convenience, we take payment by cash or credit card. Payment by bank transfer can be made by prior arrangement.
Where can I set up a jumping castle?
We can set up a jumping castle on any reasonably flat surface. We prefer to set up on a flat grassy area so we can securely peg the castle in place. However, we can set up on flat driveways, gravel or paved surfaces and indoors. Please notify us in advance if your inflatable needs to be installed on a hard surface or indoors so we can bring suitable weights to anchor it in place.
Can I set up a jumping castle in a park?
Yes, however, when setting up a jumping castle or inflatable in a public area, you will usually need to apply for a permit from the local authority. If we set up in public area, We will need to supervise.
How much space do I need to hire a jump castle?
You will need to have at least the size of the jumping castle, plus 1 meter to accommodate the castle and the blower. In addition to this, we need a clear access pathway of at least 1 meter wide to move equipment into place.
How long does it take to set up a bouncy castle or inflatable slide?
It usually takes around 30 minutes to get your bouncy castle or inflatable slide up and running. To ensure maximum enjoyment we always arrive at the venue in good time to ensure that the inflatable is ready for the start of the party or event. Set up and pack down times do not form part of your hire time.
Do I need a plug socket?
A standard household 240 volt plug socket will be required to operate your jumping castle. For your convenience, our vans are equipped with a 20m long extension lead so we can easily access nearby plug sockets. Alternatively, if there is no electricity supply nearby, we can supply a generator for a small additional fee.
Does someone need to supervise the castle?
Yes, Jumping castles and inflatables need to be under constant supervision by a capable adult (aged 18+). We give full training on how to manage, operate and supervise our inflatables or for a small fee we can provide one of our friendly team members to supervise for you.
Do you provide a hose for use with a slip and slide?
Yes, we provide a 15m hose for use with our slip and slide. Your tap will need to be fitted with a standard hose adapter.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No, we take full payment on the day of the hire.
Does the weather affect my jumping castle or inflatable hire booking?
On days with high wind or heavy rain, it may not be safe to set up an inflatable. We constantly monitor the weather forecast to ensure your safety and should the weather forecast be unfavourable we will call you and advise you of your options. In the event that we deem the weather unsuitable, there will be no charge and we would be happy to reschedule your booking for another time.
